Underground Hip-Hop Artist,Drew Swim,Is Making Waves
A product of Silver Springs, Maryland, Drew Swim is easily the breakthrough artist of the year. Swim is one member of the DC Area’s Petworth Swimclub. Petworth is a collective of MC's, Designers, Video Directors, and Influencers, where "swim" is coined as a lifestlye.
Drew is known for his diverse ability to create cool wherever he goes, his extensive word play, his organic approach to the art of hip-hop, and his overall passion for music.
Drew’s musical influences include Larry June, Curren$y and Premo Rice to name a few. These artist are known for what is commonly called “lifestyle rap”. If you are unfamiliar with this sound, let me set the stage:

Drew Swim is now creating his musical masterpieces in Charlotte, NC. While in N.C., he has worked alongside his visual consultant, Henri Allgood, Success Coach, me (Coach Mozingo), and strategist Pee Sheff. With the support from this team and Drew’s prior music scene connections, he has been able to work with some heavy-hitters. Drew Swim’s first EP, Tokens & Collectibles was produced by K.FISHA.
K.FISHA is a Billboard charting producer who is currently most known for his production for Larry June and Dusty DeLuna, and his production genius is expanding rapidly. Larry June’s projects, Orange Print, and Out of The Trunk are two projects to check out some of K.FISHA’s top teir production.
Alongside working with notable producers, he was recently interviewed by Jared GHO$T of Lyrical Lemonade. Lyrical Lemonade is an internet blog & production house founded by Cole Bennett. The point of the blog was originally created to deliver news on the Chicago rap and hip-hop scene. Nowadays, Lyrical Lemonade is worth around $10 million. Drew’s momentum and support system landed his slot in NC’s Charlotte SHOUT! 2023 Festival. This festival is one of Charlotte’s annual celebrations of arts & culture presented by Atrium Health and Bank of America. CLTSHOUT! is an aspirational multi-week festival designed to showcase and celebrating Charlotte's creativity and innovation through art, music, food, and ideas.
