Did you know that Peonies bloom once a year?

I’ve always loved peonies. beautiful and pricey. she think she me.

They were a spoiling myself purchase when the funds were assembled. Now I know why. Each plant produces a single flush of blooms.

Once the flowers are harvested or fade, the plant focuses on storing energy for the next year’s growth rather than producing more blooms that same season…

Once harvested, there are a multitude of resources embedded in the plant's bloom.

skincare to weddings

Textiles

Perfumes, oils

Pollinator supporters.

Soil stabilizer …their dense root systems help …stabilize the soil.

I heal and look good in every setting and

I honor my energy flows. Pop outs when aligned. A desire for the deepest connection.

Perhaps, I, too, am a peony? My Earth Sister? Cousin?
