Reflections Before Love ...

You did not do anything wrong.

You deserve to be chosen fully.

You do not have to beg for someone to love you.

You do not have to beg for someone’s attention.

You do not have to cry to be fit into someone’s schedule.

There is someone who will want to learn and love you, just as you learn and love them.

There is someone who will be curious about you,

There is someone who will be sensitive to you,

You will not be too much,

Or not enough.

You deserve to be prayed for.

You are not a burden.

What you have to say is important.

What you feel is valid. 

You do not have to sacrifice yourself for someone else’s distraction. 

There is someone who will hold you,

There is someone who will listen and hear you.

There is someone who will help you and encourage you,

There is someone who will balance you,

Grow you.

You will see your life with them, not for them.

You will not have to doubt,

Question,

Or have anxiety about how they feel.

They will understand each of the languages you love in, as you will theirs.

Your love story will not be a tragedy. 

You will not have to suffer for love.

Love is not suffering.

There will be times when things may be hard, but loving won’t be hard.
